I work with small businesses, medium businesses, non-profit organizations and political candidates in Montana, generally in Helena. Sure, your niece or nephew can slap up a web site, upload some clip-art or a bad scan of your logo. It takes a professional to help you make an impact. And it doesn’t take a ton of money. It takes a little diligence and a generous helping of commitment. Others may quibble over esoteric details of semantic coding or other technical details like HTML vs. XHTML. I focus on your requirements, the process and the solution.

I’ve been using WordPress since 2006. WordPress started out as a blogging platform, but has grown over the years into a full-featured content management system (CMS). WordPress is one of the most popular CMSes available with thousands of free and premium themes (designs), and tens of thousands of free and premium or plug-ins for extending functionality. The combinations are virtually limitless. By working with as many existing pieces as possible, we don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
You Own Everything
I don’t host web sites myself. I use Dreamhost.com and recommend it to my clients. Dreamhost is very affordable and packed with features. We work with an account set up in your name so you own it. I also recommend Dreamhost as your domain registrar. I don’t register your domain. Rather, I guide you through the process so you own it, officially and legally. This is one way we mitigate the risk in using a single person for your web site needs.
